All these years after I wrote that review in SPAG I no longer wish I'd written it because the creator has done so much since. But I wish I'd created something so... complete at some point. I replayed it recently and it's as good as I remember.
Another game that fits in this kind of exploration without potpourri is The ascent of the gothic tower, by Ryan Veeder. But this one has characters and some mystery and some lore, that are just perfectly integrated with the story and the environment. It has no puzzles, maybe it has "obstacles". Really satisfying.
Anyway, I look forward to this Fire Tower, lately, I'm the liking on this kind of game. (Also there are NONE of them in Spanish, as far as I know).
