This just blew my mind. To learn about her creations was incredible. Thank you.

I am the weird person who got into interactive fiction because of Judy Malloy! Somehow, I have no memory of how, I came across "The Wedding Ceremony of Gunther and Gwen" and "the roar of destiny emanated from the refrigerator" when I was about 16 (2009) and was absolutely fascinated by them. They were being billed as "hyperfiction" at the time and I have dim memories of trying to write my own imitator project on something like MS One Note, which I quickly abandoned. I even found a way to reference Malloy's work in an undergrad English essay. Thank you for including her work in this collection!

I tried playing the web link. Sorry, even for 1986, this is total drivel.

I find a lot to relate to in it, personally, and really admire Malloy's economy of writing and the way she can capture people so well in just a couple lines of prose. Sorry it didn't work for you!
