Getting loads of free advertising via the latest Ars Technical post. Why no print on demand option on Amazon through Kindle Direct Press? Would instantly buy if a print book was available. Please consider!

Hi Guy, thanks for the interest! The book was designed for a high-end print run and has a couple features that make it nontrivial to sell via print on demand. I'm hoping to re-issue it in that format eventually, but it will require redoing some layout and a couple other tweaks. The best way to keep in the loop about any back inventory of the original print run returning for sale or a future print-on-demand version is to subscribe to this newsletter (free) where I will announce those things if they happen!

Is there a way to specify a different recipient than the purchaser? that is make it a gift?

You should just be able to update your shipping address in BackerKit to wherever you want the book to go!
