I’ve been working the last few years in developing narrative VR storytelling and this was such a fun and informative read. There are a lot of parallels I think between storytelling in new mediums spurred by technology that I found utterly fascinating. I also this the writing is incredible and engaging. I can’t wait for print copies to come back in stock and am so sad to have missed the collectors edition. I think this book is a must read for anybody interested in text games, or narrative storytelling as a whole. Bravo!

Just finished my first go-through of my paper copy. What. A. Marvelous. Book. I learned so much, and it was a sheer delight. Fantastic, Aaron!

Would you consider making another run of the Ultimate Collector's Edition? Just found out about this...

Me too. I'm the biggest adventure fan, currently doing The Hobbit and asking GPT to write poems for me in ye olde speak when I get stuck, to give me hints to get me going again. :-) I'm also asking Dall-e to generate images of the various locations from the Spectrum version of the game. Seriously thinking about compiling the outputs into an illustrated walkthrough and posting it on the web. You should see how menacing a dragon it creates! I wish I had known about this project. I would do anything for a genuine copy of this book, if anybody wants to sell one. I would actually use it too! :-) Next: the Artic adventures, A to F (or is it G?) Either way, great work.
